How much is the fee?
I charge $160 for a 50-minute session. I have a few openings in my schedule each week for those who cannot pay my full fee. The amount of the reduced fee is negotiated based on individual circumstances. My clients pay for each session (check, cash, Venmo or PayPal) at the time of service.
Can I use my insurance?
Many of my clients file for reimbursement from their insurance companies. I provide a receipt for payment at each session. The receipt has all the information the insurance company needs to process a claim. Because I am not on insurance “panels” I am considered an “out-of-network” provider. This will likely mean that your insurance company will reimburse you at a lower rate than they would an in-network provider. If it is important for you to know in advance what your insurance will cover, I advise you to contact them. Also, be aware that in order for your claim to be considered for reimbursement, your insurance company will require that I provide a diagnostic code representing one of the mental/behavioral disorders found in the DSM 5 diagnostic manual.

What is a “free phone consultation”?
I offer this service to encourage you to interview me and discuss treatment options. This will help us both determine whether I am the right therapist for you. If it seems that isn’t the case, I will be happy to suggest other referral sources.
Where is your office?
My office is in Hillsboro Village at 2200 21st. Ave. S., Suite 405. The building is on the corner of Blair and 21st Ave. S., next to Hillsboro Hardware and across from the Kroger grocery store. We are approximately 1 mile north of the 21st. Ave. S. exit off I-440.
